River Landscape

Biography

Plinio Armin Colombi (1904–1985) – Swiss landscape painter, son of the painter Plinio Colombi (1873–1951). He painted mainly Alpine views and landscapes of the areas around Lake Thun and Bern. His paintings are characterized by a bright color palette, an impressionistic manner, and a subtle use of light, thanks to which he conveyed the atmosphere and mood of Swiss nature.
